Justin
was born to be an inventor. At a young age, Justn awed his pre-school
teachers with large wood-block structures that were taller than he was
and encompassed whole corners of the school. Justin's inventive mind must
have come from his spatial-thinking, architect father, Joseph Marty. As
Justin matured, so did his ideas. Justin found himself always to improve
his environment using materials from his parents' garage. At the age of
10, Justin once connected a string to his light switch in his room and
navigated it along the wall to his bed. He did this so he could turn the
lights off without having to get up. Justin's ideas continued to develop
as he took 5th place in the state of California with his team in a challenge
at the Oddessey of the Mind finals, a youth competition that promotes
creativity and problem solving. |
